Infrastructure Technician

An Infrastructure Technician provides support to internal and external customers, helping them to be productive when using technology to do their own jobs, by using tools to problem solve and trouble shoot non routine problems.

 

Overview

  • Level 3 qualification
  • Duration: 18 months
  • 1 day per-week in college
  • Starting January

  • Help desk technician
  • First or second line support
  • IT infrastructure technician
  • Network support

 

Software Development Technician

A Software Development Technician typically works as part of a software development team to build simple software components (whether web, mobile or desktop applications) to be used by other members of the team as part of larger software development projects.

 

Overview

  • Level 2
  • Duration: 18 months
  • 1 day per-week in college
  • Starting January

 

Typical job roles:

  • Software development technician
  • Junior developer
  • Junior web developer

HR Consultant / Partner (CIPD Level 5)

Individuals in this role will use their HR expertise to provide and lead the delivery of HR solutions to business challenges, together with tailored advice to the business in a number of HR areas, typically to mid-level and senior managers.

  • Level 5
  • Duration: 24 months
  • 1 day per-month in college
  • Starting January

  • HR Consultant
  • HR Business Partner

 

Associate Project Manager

Projects can be defined and delivered within different contexts, across diverse industry sectors. They can be large or small. Every project needs to be managed to ensure its success,  An associate project manager knows what needs to be achieved, how it will be achieved, how long it will take and how much it will cost.

 

Overview:

  • Level 4
  • Duration: TBC
  • 1 day per-month in college
  • Starting February 2018

 

HR Support

Working in a medium to large organisation as part of the HR function HR Support deliver front line assistance to managers and employees, or are a HR Manager in a small organisation. 

 

Overview

  • Level 3
  • Duration: 18 months
  • 1 day per-week in college
  • Starting April 2018
